Vistaril during pregnancy to reduce contractions?
I was in the hospital recently due to (unpainful) too many contractions. They prescribed me vistaril to reduce these contractions so that my chance of preteen labor may be reduced. I have read this medicine is dangerous in the first trimester (I am 26 weeks) has anyone else had to take this? I worry about my little one but I can’t chance preteen labor
My doctor prescribed my that for my anxiety during pregnancy. i didn’t take it often, only when i really needed it. but he told me that it was safe. if your doctor thinks its for the best that you take this medication, then i would trust him.
